As a community school, Haverstock follows the LEA admissions policy. Priority is given to applicants who:
- are looked-after children
- have siblings at the school
- are students whom the Local Authority accept has an exceptional social/medical need.
- live nearest the school
Admission to Haverstock is conditional on the agreement of students and their parents/carers to support and uphold the values of the school, outlined in the school code and partnership agreement.
Parents of children who have a statement should not apply through the ordinary secondary transfer process, but should be guided by the SEN team of the local authority that maintains the statement.
210 students are admitted into Year 7 each September. In year admissions in years 7-11 are subject to this maximum size for any year group.
